Child Study Team
My name is MaryFrancis Smolens and I am a member of the Child Study Team (CST) at the McKinley Avenue Elementary School. I have 15 years of experience working in education and this is my 8th year with the Stafford Township School District. In my current role I am the Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) and I work collaboratively with the School Psychologist and Social Worker to assess students for disabilities. My goal is to help students maximize their learning potential and provide practical assistance to their teachers.
My name is Stephanie Szczepan and I am the school psychologist on the CST. I have 12 years’ experience as working as a school psychologist. I have worked in a variety of public school settings ranging from working with high school students, grade school students, and preschool students. This is my 3rd year as the School Psychologist for McKinley Avenue Elementary School. I work collaboratively with administrations, teachers, fellow CST members, and parents to ensure that each student’s needs are being met academically, socially, and behaviorally. I love working with my students to gain insight on their needs and wants in order for them to be successful academically, socially, and behaviorally in school and in their community.
